Over the years, the LiteIP brand had stayed much the same, largely as they were content to build a reputation very much behind the scenes.

Given the calibre of companies using their system, we thought that they had been a bit shy about their credentials, experience and approach.
 

So we set out to rebrand the business to reflect the system as it is today, and the way the company now operates.

DIFFERENTIATION:

An elegant solution to a longstanding problem.

We were keen for LiteIP to identify why they started the business in the first place, and articulate what we really believe in.


It boiled down to them wanting an elegant and straightforward solution to a problem that has been around for years.

Commercial lighting control systems save companies money on their electricity bills. But many systems are so complex that they need expensive, professional installation and setup.

 

LiteIP believes that such systems really don’t have to be complicated and should also pay for themselves.


That's exactly why they created a wireless commercial lighting control system that is simple to specify, simple to install and simple to run. It doesn’t need complex wiring or a degree in computer science to install and operate. It’s run using a simple app and uses less energy to save clients' money.

EXPRESSION:

Simply Connected Lighting.

Creating something so simple has taken hard work, imagination and determination.


LiteIP's solution means that experts no longer hold sway over people who don’t understand. The system gives control back to customers.

The strapline 'Simply Connected Lighting' seemed exactly right as a way of expressing the philosophy of the business, plus it explains what the product does and the benefit it delivers.


We also refreshed the colours to bring some light to proceedings.


And we begged them to showcase the amazing set of UK brands that use their system. It's a staggering list of well known names from Aldi to Westfield and everything in between.

ACTIVATION:

Let there be light.

The new branding has been rolled out across all marketing materials, stationery, mailing pack and a new, much simplified website.


The list of their clients looks amazing.

And the impact has been immediate.


Within three months of the relaunch, the business was bought by Global lighting specialist Glamox, a huge leap forward in scale for LiteIP. Exciting times lie ahead...
